The New Telepresence-Quality TANDBERG Profile Closes the Communication Gap Caused by Tightening Budgets
TANDBERG has announced the TANDBERG Profile, a telepresence-quality 1080p high-definition video conferencing system.
In these challenging times, companies are being forced to reduce travel, limiting partner meetings, customer events and employee gatherings. The TANDBERG Profile has an intelligent, user-friendly interface and is flexible for any team room environment. Its three widescreen LCD display options (single 42", single 52" or dual 52") coupled with full duplex audio and a strategically placed PrecisionHDTM 1080p camera allow for better eye-contact and more natural communication. The sleek, attractive design of the Profile also incorporates recyclable aluminum materials, keeping in line with TANDBERG's environmental sustainability goals. Moreover, it is part of a TANDBERG Total Solution for complete management and access to intelligent network services. The TANDBERG Profile is interoperable with any standards-compliant video conferencing or telepresence system.
The Profile is driven by the new TANDBERG Codec C60, the next generation video collaboration engine also announced. Based on the same advanced technology as the Codec C90 telepresence engine, the C60 allows up to four microphones and four HD sources - including rich multimedia - to connect at the same time. This enables easy sharing of presentations and other multimedia to spark ideas and discussion.
